HOW DO YOU CORRECT INVERTED NIPPLES?

HOW DO YOU CORRECT INVERTED NIPPLES?

Inverted nipples are common affecting 1 in 10 of the male and female populations in the United Kingdom.

Most cases are long-standing so they occur after the breasts develop and some cases occur after breastfeeding. If you have had long-standing inverted nipples the cause is an imbalance between the muscle in the nipple and the milk ducts.

The milk ducts tether the nipple in and although the muscle contracts it's not strong enough to bring the nipple out.

At Aurora Clinics we have a really simple procedure for correcting inverted nipple which we specialize in. Surgery is performed under local anesthetic, takes approximately half to one hour, and is effective at correcting inverted nipples.

If you feel you would like to book a consultation please get in contact and our team would be delighted to discuss this with you.
